Jessica Laurel Jolley, 22, of McDonald, Tennessee, died on Thursday, July 2, 2009 in a local hospital.

She was born in Chattanooga, on May 22, 1987. She graduated from Bradley Central High School in 2005. She was a Certified Medical Assistant at Dr.Tom Caldwell’s office.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Joseph A. and Helen P. Jolley of Harrison, Tn.; grandfather, Louis S. Smith of Pikeville, Tn.

She is survived by daughter, Fiore’ Cannon of McDonald, Tn.; parents, Paul and Rhonda Jolley of McDonald, Tn.; three sisters, Stephanie Armstrong (husband, Jerome Armstrong) of Cleveland, Tn., Jenny Stephens (husband, Derrick Stephens) of Cleveland, Tn., Becky Howe (husband, Ryan Howe) of Spartanburg, S.C.; nephews, Preston Armstrong and Cameron Stephens of Cleveland, Tn.; grandmother, Mary Ann Smith Hall and Ira Hall of Pikeville, Tn.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Kinzil Hooker officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12-4 p.m. at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Ammonia Leak At BASF On Amnicola Highway Causes Major Traffic Backups

An Anhydrous Ammonia leak at BASF Corporation on Amnicola Highway is causing major traffic issues this morning. The leak reportedly occurred shortly before 5 a.m. The Chattanooga Fire Department responded with several fire companies, and the haz-mat team. Woman Shot Up To 8 Times In East Chattanooga Murder

Chattanooga Police pfficers responded Monday night to 1907 Daisy St. in East Chattanooga on a report of a woman who had been shot.  When they arrived around 9 p.m., they found a female inside the business who had been shot 4-6 times.
