Stand Group To Pass Out Surveys At Saturday Soccer Game

Thursday, July 02, 2009

The local group Stand will be passing out four-question surveys and entering survey participants in a drawing for Chattanooga Football Club apparel and 2010 season passes at Saturday's final CFC match at Finley Stadium.

Stand will take the field at half-time with CFC players and fans for a variety of visioning festivities.

Stand is a community visioning effort led by residents, young and old, across the Chattanooga region. Stand encourages people from every walk of life to share their input and ideas for the purpose of enabling community leaders, organizations, neighborhoods, businesses and regular citizens to collaborate and enact change. The dialogue begins with four simple questions:

1. What do you like about the Chattanooga region?
2. Imagine the best possible Chattanooga region. Describe it.
3. What challenges must be addressed?
4. What actions, big or small, can you take to help?

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt. Chapin would have wanted.  He was a protector and sacrificed his life so the rest of ... (click for more)
