Business Workshops Using Twitter And More Offered July 23

Chattanooga Technology Council with partner Strategic Business Network, LLC will present two social media for business sessions on July 23.

"Drive Revenue & Boost Your Business Using Twitter" will be held on Thursday, July 23, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the United Way of Greater Chattanooga, third floor. The United way is located at 630 Market St., at the corner of 7th and Market.

Guests at the workshop will learn effective and implementable strategies for acquiring clients and promoting their business using Twitter, the fastest growing social networking site on the web, officials said.

The session will be taught by business owners and social media experts who will share proven tactics and strategies for online networking success.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

An Chattanooga man told police Monday night that he had just murdered his wife.  Police said Robert Hardnett showed up at the County Jail to turn himself in. I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
