Local tea party groups from across the nation will converge on Washington, D.C. Sept. 12 for a united national protest against out-of-control government spending, and the Chattanooga Tea Party will be there with them.
To transport the dozens of Chattanooga-area residents who are joining the protest, the Chattanooga Tea Party has chartered a bus to take up to 50 riders on a round trip to Washington.
The bus will depart Chattanooga Thursday evening, Sept. 10, and return early the morning of Sunday, Sept.
13. Bus fare is $120.
The Chattanooga Tea Party has also reserved rooms at a Washington-area hotel near a Metro terminal for two nights at $93.72 per night for a total of $187.44 per room.
