June Finney

June Corynn Finney, 75, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, July 2, 2009.

She retired from Whitwell Medical Center as assistant administrator.

Mrs. Finney was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church for 48 years, where she served as elder, shepherd, Sunday School teacher, choir member and member of the Quilting Circle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. Finney and a daughter, Cheryl Quarles.

Survivors are her son, Roger (Becky) Finney of Lakesite; daughter, Donna (Eddie) Hatmaker, of Hixson; daughter, Karen (Larry) Schenk of Key West, Fl.; two brothers, Roger Shotwell of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl., and Earle Shotwell of Fern Park, Fl.; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Northside Presbyterian Church with Dr. Larry Schenk and the Rev. Sam Pope officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home and from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Northside Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, North Chapel.

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Ammonia Leak At BASF On Amnicola Highway Causes Major Traffic Backups
