The Tennessee PTA leadership team will travel during the week of July 27-31 to five cities in Tennessee for summer leadership training.
"A Summer's Day for PTA" leadership training will provide PTA leaders with the tools necessary to have a successful year, officials said. Workshops at this annual event will include basic officer training, information on student enrichment opportunities, strategies for parent engagement, and development of advanced leadership skills.
The five one-day stops for the leadership team will be in Memphis at Highland Oaks Elementary July 27, Nashville at the Tennessee PTA office July 28, Chattanooga at Hixson Middle School July 29, Johnson City at Lake Ridge Elementary July 30 and Knoxville at Amherst Elementary July 31.
Tennessee PTA is comprised of thousands of families, students, teachers, administrators, and business and community leaders devoted to the educational success of children and the promotion of parent involvement in schools since 1911.
