Review for Kansas:
After selling over 30 million albums in their 35 year history, Kansas is still one of the hardest working and most popular American bands on the road today. Their 1976 classic “Carry On Wayward Son” ranks #11 on the list of the 50 most played rock songs of all time. Other hits, “Dust In The Wind” and “Point Of No Return” remain staples of classic rock radio stations all over the world.

Review for Edgar Winter:
Texas native Edgar Winter was propelled into the national spotlight in 1971 with his acclaimed version of “Tobacco Road.” Winter’s innovative mix of Rock, Blues and Jazz later resulted in #1 classics, “Frankenstein” and “Free Ride.”

Review for Overland Express:
Overland Express dominated the Chattanooga club scene throughout most of the 70’s recording two acclaimed albums and drawing turn-away crowds wherever they appeared. This very special reunion performance features all of the original members of the band.

Chattanooga Rocks For The Veterans will also feature a variety of food and beverage choices from the menus of some of Chattanooga’s most popular restaurants including Northshore Grille, Midtown Music Hall and Coltrane’s On 9th. A portion of all food and beverage proceeds from the evening will also benefit the Veterans.

Gates to the all-ages show will open at 5 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m. Lawn chairs are welcome.

Chattanooga Rocks For The Veterans is being produced by Bravo Developing and The Nordell Company.

We Are Blessed To Have Ron Littlefield As Our Mayor - And Response

Chattanooga is blessed beyond measure to have Ron Littlefield as our mayor.  It is a total travesty our city has had to endure the long frivolous battle with absolutely  no foundation other than disagreement with policy issues.  It has always been a vendetta directed personally at Mayor Littlefield which, if the "interveners" decide to appeal, will be a proven fact.   ... Roy Exum: The Sadness Of The Recall

Judge Jeff Hollingsworth, his eagle eyes zeroed on the U.S. Constitution and the laws that have been put into place since it was adopted in 1787, ended the recall of Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield Friday afternoon, but the pall of sadness that the effort cast over the city will last for a lot longer. If “time is money,” the whole deal cost us millions of dollars and even more ... (click for more)
