Pinkstaff, Huesman, Gordon Lift Baylor Past Tyner, 41-6

With star running back Sam Williams sidelined with a hamstring injury, Nelson Pinkstaff filled in admirably on Friday night for the Baylor Red Raiders.

Pinkstaff ran for 59 yards on 10 carries and scored three touchdowns as Baylor (2-0) rolled past Tyner, 41-6, in a high school football game at Tyner.

Pinkstaff had touchdown runs of 25 and 3 yards and caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Jacob Huesman.

Huesman was 18-of-35 for 204 yards and threw three touchdown passes. He had scoring passes to Pinkstaff and two to Deosha McColley (9 and 13 yards) and rushed five times for 60 yards.

Channing Gordon had a touchdown for the Raiders when he scooped a fumble on a kickoff and returned it 15 yards.

Gordon also had a pass interception for the Red Raiders.

Jermel McKenzie had Tyner's only touchdown on a 15-yard run in the fourth quarter.

The Rams dropped to 0-2.

Mother Of Man Charged With Killing Sgt. Chapin Given Prison Sentence Of 30 Years, 6 Months

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
