Edward Cameron, 59, died on August 26, 2009 at a local hospital.

He attended Riverside High School and was employed by American Electrical Manufacturing and Unum/Aramark.

He was preceded in death by grandmother, Ailene Cameron and parents, Moselle Cameron and James C. Stodghill.

He is survived by wife, Drusilla; children (from first union with Alice Cameron), Kevin, Tod (Sireta), Edrius (Anquanette) Cameron; Gabrielle Cameron, Kenya (Kevin) Moore, Ceyolonja (Kirby) Carr; brothers, Edgar (Barbara) (Ohio), Willie (Brenda) (Georgia), Cecil and Darrell Stodghill; stepchildren, Terrill Appleberry, Cornelius and Jermaine Norman; 17 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; mother-in-law, Shirley Fairbanks; brothers-in-law, Richard (Melvina) and Stephen (Yvonna) West, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Greater Friendship Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
