Red Raiders Improve To 4-0; Travel To MBA Thursday

Baylor struck early on Friday night against Great Atlanta Christian and ran its record to 4-0 in a high school football game at Heywood Stadium.

The Red Raiders took a 33-7 halftime lead, played its backups in the second half and raced to a 60-42 victory.

Baylor will play next Thursday night at Montgomery Bell Academy, then have an off week before playing host to rival McCallie.

Quarterback Jacob Huesman was 8-for-15 for 184 yards and one touchdown on Friday night. He also ran for a touchdown.

Backup quarterback Matthew Oellerich was 4-for-5 for 75 yards and threw for two touchdowns.

Tailback Nelson Pinkstaff ran for 53 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns. Chris Hartfield ran for a 1-yard touchdown for the Red Raiders.

Catching touchdown passes for the Red Raiders were Michael Trundle, Ben Prater, and Charbo Clarke. Trundle had three receptions for 56 yards.

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
