A multi-colored hot air balloon floating above Bright School featured none other than Headmaster O.J. Morgan as a passenger.
When Bright School students arrived on campus during a recent Thursday morning carpool, it was anything but ordinary. The children were delighted to find a huge hot air balloon hovering over the soccer field. Each classroom headed outside to the field for a closer look.
Headmaster Morgan unveiled a long scroll that proclaimed “Read, Read, Read” from his tethered perch, much to the delight of the crowd far below.
“Bright School is a magical learning environment that capitalizes on the sense of wonder and curiosity within each child,” said Kim Brown, Bright’s director of marketing, communications and community relations. “Reading is an important part of a child’s intellectual and emotional development. It’s the perfect cause for celebration.”
Founded in 1913, Bright School is a coeducational, independent elementary school serving children in grades prekindergarten through five. The school is located on Hixson Pike in North Chattanooga.
