Trent Lusk Lifts McCallie Past John Paul II, 28-10

Blue Tornado Improves to 3-0

Trent Lusk, filling in for Keenon Rush, threw for two touchdowns and ran for another Friday night as McCallie defeated John Paul II, 28-10, in a Division II high school football game at Spears Stadium.

Lusk, who took over when Rush was lost for the season with a knee injury suffered in week zero, was impressive as McCallie improved to 3-0. Pope John Paul dropped to 1-2.

Lusk threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Daniel McClure and a 33-yard pass to Keenan Hale. He also ran for a 1-yard touchdown.

Hale had a 49-yard run for McCallie’s other touchdown.

Hudson Brock kicked four point-afters for the Blue Tornado.
