Lady Scots Volleyball Win 3-0 Over Tennessee Wesleyan

After opening their season with a win and two losses, the Lady Scots volleyball team pulled back to .500 with a monstrous win over the Tennessee Wesleyan College Lady Bulldogs Tuesday night. Covenant won the match in three games 25-10, 25-13, 25-15 at home.

The Lady Scots were led by sophomore Emily Stewart with 11 kills and 7 service receptions. Erica Adams also contributed with seven kills, and Joanna McGill delivered 15 assists.

The Lady Scots will be on the road this weekend facing AAC schools Milligan College and Montreat College.

Their next home game is scheduled for Friday, September 18th at 7:00


Berry Leads Chattanooga At Valentine Invitational

MURFREESBORO. --- UTC senior Chris Berry (Murfreesboro) took first in the men’s 3000 meter run at the Valentine Invitational at the Murphy Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee. Mark Phillips Was Victim In Fatal Hixson Pike Wreck

Mark Phillips, 54, was the victim in a fatal Hixson Pike wreck on Saturday afternoon. Police said the driver of the Ford F150 that went out of control and struck the Phillips vehicle was 68-year-old Warren Elliott.
