I discovered a new bar/restaurant last week and had lunch with my husband. We had cube steak and mashed potatoes, green beans and baked apples and it was only $6. We spend more than that at drive-thru restaurants.
We went back a few evenings later and had a hamburgr and fries and enjoyed some really good karaoke. Today we met there for lunch and we had the best chicken and dressing, creamed potatoes, green beans, creamed corn with warm rolls, and we absolutely loved it.
I will definitely be back every Thursday - plate lunches for $6 you just can't hardly beat and it's good homecooked food.
I can't wait till tomorrow night because on Friday nights they have black angus New York strips and rib eyes with a baked potato, salad and rolls for only $9.50.
It's called Connie's Place. They are on Hixson Pike across from the Bi-Lo where the old Terrys Bar used to be.
You should check them out. They even deliver lunches with a minimum of three orders.
