Mary A. Rasor, of Chattanooga, died in her sleep on February 14, 2010.

She was born October 15, 1933, in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of Leroy and Lova Davis Willcox.

She graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1951 and was married on January 24, 1953 to Dale B. Rasor who preceded her in death on March 18, 2008.

She is survived by a sister, Chloveta Groff of Piqua; her children, three daughters, Deborah A. Torode and her husband Michael, Pasadena Ca., Cynthia L. Furst and her husband Dennis Rowan, Windsor, Ca., and Barbara J. Rasor, Aiken, S.C.; two sons, Steven D. Rasor, Chattanooga and David E. Rasor, El Paso, Tx.; one granddaughter, Maddie Gordon, daughter of Barbara, Santa Barbara, Ca.; two grandsons, Michael and Mathew Torode, both of Pasadena, Ca.

The family has requested cremation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 519 E. 4th Street, Chattanooga, Tn. 37403.

Child, 23 Months, Found Dead In Crib With Fentanyl Patch On Back; Death Ruled Homicide

A 23-month-old Chattanooga boy has been found dead in his crib with a Fentanyl patch on his back. The death of Demarcus Bryant at 7655 Borris Dr. last month was ruled a homicide.
