The University of Tennessee men's Lacrosse team, including former McCallie player Sam Kachline, has won its first four games of the season.

Kachline, a freshman defensive middy, got his first score as a college player in the E. Michigan game on a fast break.

David Sapala, another freshman who played high school at Notre Dame, is a back up goalie for the team.

UT defeated Clemson (8-6), Kentucky (13-5), Auburn (7-5) and E. Michigan (17-8).

This past weekend's victories against Auburn and E. Michigan propelled the Vols into the MCLA's Division 1 top 20. The LaxPower computer ranking now ranks Tennessee 16th in the nation, while the MCLA Top 23 officials poll puts the Vols at 20.

The MCLA currently consists of 213 teams in two divisions, across 10 conferences.

This weekend, the Vols will battle in Knoxville against Georgia (ranked 14th) on Friday night, 7:30 game time, and then against Indiana (ranked 4th) on Saturday evening, 7:00 game time.
