Chattanooga State Community College, in collaboration with The de Bono Group, will host an interactive two-hour workshop, “Powerful Tools for Powerful Thinking” on Feb 24.
Designed as a preview to a series of programs that address the “new normal” in business, the Feb. 24 session will highlight the rich and innovative training that The de Bono Group will offer through Chattanooga State this spring, officials said.
During the two-hour mini-course, participants will learn how the brain works and how to learn to think more thoroughly and creatively, and will hear about upcoming training programs, all of which emphasize reshaping personal and organizational methods to accommodate the robust and ever-changing business culture of today.
Lead by a de Bono master trainer and facilitator, the introductory session is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 10:30 p.m. and has been specially priced at $25 per participant. A light breakfast will be served at 8 a.m.
After Feb. 24, Chattanooga State will launch a series of comprehensive programs that feature the de Bono Thinking Systems training curriculum. Each workshop revolves around a specific “thinking” tool kit and addresses how to navigate the “new normal” in today’s corporate world.
