A Chattanooga man has been arrested for arson in connection with a fire last Nov. 28 at a house at 8002 Standifer Gap Road.
Roger Bean, 23, of Clio Avenue, was indicted by the Hamilton County Grand Jury for aggravated arson. He turned himself in to Detective David Sowder and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
He was given a bond of $15,000.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Fire Investigative Task Force and Tri-Community Fire Department initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire and the findings determined the cause to be an incendiary device.
The sheriff's office said information was developed that led to the arrest of Bean.
