Stanley W. Shrum, 82, of Jasper, Tn., died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 in a Chattanooga Hospital.

The son of the late Walden M. and Cora Drake Shrum, he attended Kimball Church of Christ for many years. He was a United States Veteran and will be remembered by his grandchildren for being such a wonderful grandfather.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Shrum; and daughter-in-law, Edna Shrum.

He is survived by his children, Stan Shrum of Jasper, Danny and Gary Shrum of Ky.; daughter, Linda Crisp of Tracy City, Tn. and Kelly Daniels of Tx.; several grandchildren, including Jackie Shrum of Bridgeport, Jason Shrum of New Hope and Luke Shrum of Jasper; great-grandchildren, Chase Havner and Kylah Campbell and Olivia Shrum; brother, Chuck Shrum of Jasper; sister, Ethleen Gibson of Murfreesboro, T.n; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. CST. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-7 p.m. CST at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.

Sherline Muse Parker, 58, of Calhoun, Ga., died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again
