The Covenant College Scots suffering their seventh straight loss with a 20-point defeat to Oakwood at Huntsville, Ala., on Monday night.
Oakwood, which entered the contest with a 9-9 record, won 76-56.
The loss drops the Scots to 3-16 on the year.
Leading scorers for Covenant were Damien Chaney and Zarome Lakey with 10 apiece.
The Scots will be given a chance to avenge the defeat on Senior Night, Feb. 23rd, but must first face Huntingdon College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Huntingdon defeated Covenant 87-73 two weeks ago.
In the women's game, Erika Forland had a double-double to lead the Lady Scots to a 56-46 victory.
The senior scored 20 points and had 12 rebounds. She also led in assists and steals.
Sophomore Margaret Cross scored 10.
Covenant led 30-14 at the half.
The Lady Scots improve to 8-12.
Covenant will now host Huntingdon College, whom they defeated 68-58 earlier in the year, this Wednesday at 5:30 P.M.
