Graham Picks Up Papers For District 6 County Commission Race

Joe Graham, a Lookout Valley businessman, has picked up papers to run for the District 6 County Commission race as a Republican.

The incumbent is Democrat John Brooks of St. Elmo.

Mr. Graham ran in 2008 for a City Council seat and finished third. He then backed challenger Deborah Scott, who defeated incumbent Linda Bennett.

The primary election is May 4 and the general election is Aug. 5.


City To Spend $3.2 Million For Moccasin Bend Sewage Treatment Plant Odor Control

The city plans to spend $3.2 million for odor control at the Moccasin Bend Sewage Treatment Plant. Tullahoma Man Pleads Guilty In Child Pornography Case

Denver C. Cole, 40, of Tullahoma, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Federal Court in Chattanooga to receipt of child pornography in interstate commerce by means of a computer.  Sentencing is set for 9 a.m. on May 21.
