Central linebacker/fullback Johnathan Robinson signed a football scholarship on Monday with Miles College in Fairfield, Ala.
Robinson, 6-3, 220, signed during a ceremony at Central High School.
"Miles is getting a guy who can play early for them,'' Central coach David Barger said. "He's a steal for them. He was a four-year starter and a mainstay for us. He was big for our program.''
Robinson earned preseason all-state honors from Murphy Fair and then was voted all-state after the season by the Tennessee Sports Writers Associaton.
Robinson recently played in the Tennessee-Kentucky All-Star Game and was voted all-district the last two seasons.
"His numbers were down a little this year because he broke his hand,'' Barger said. "It slowed him down, but he still came back and produced for us.''
