First Things First and Chick-fil-A at Gunbarrel Pointe have teamed up to offer All Pro Dad Days held on the fourth Saturday of each month.
This sports-themed breakfast event is specifically designed for fathers and their elementary school-aged children. Dads and their kids can participate in interactive discussions on topics like peer pressure, goal-setting, caring for the less fortunate and more.
For each breakfast meal purchased, you will receive a free three-pack of Chick-n-Minis. Those in attendance will also be eligible for door prizes.
The next All Pro Dad session will be Saturday, Feb. 27, from 9-10:30 a.m. at Chick-fil-A at Gunbarrel Pointe. The guest speaker will be UTC Assistant Offensive Coach Will Healy. Mr. Healy was a captain for the University of Richmond’s 2008 FCS National Title team.
A 2002 graduate of Boyd-Buchanan High School, he twice earned all-state quarterback honors and was a Tennessee finalist for “Mr. Football.” Mr. Healy still holds the Chattanooga-area career passing record with more than 7,700 yards.
All Pro Dad Days are part of the national fathering initiative featuring former NFL coach Tony Dungy as its spokesperson.
Organizers said, "You are invited to join the team of All Pro Dads in our community and help make the difference in the life of your child."
Future meetings are scheduled for March 27 and April 24. For more information, call 423 267-5383.
