Author, syndicated columnist and speaker Lisa Earle McLeod will be the speaker for the Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute of Chattanooga leadership dinner.

The evening event is being held on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. at the Chattanooga Convention and Trade Center.

Ms. McLeod has authored several books including Forget Perfect and her most recent Triangle of Truth (Penguin Press, 2010). She has a weekly syndicated column.

CWLI annually profiles women who are nationally recognized in their field with past presenters such as Wilma Mankiller, former chief of the Cherokee Nation and Gloria Steinem, internationally known women’s rights activist.

The Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute is a local non-profit, non-partisan organization that works to increase the number of women in leadership roles in all sectors of public life and private enterprise through a variety of educational, networking, and information-gathering forums.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
