NEEDTOBREATHE Will Be Part Of Bonnaroo June 10

Atlantic recording group NEEDTOBREATHE announced today that they will be part of the lineup for Bonnaroo 2010. The South Carolina-based rock band will be performing on the festival's kickoff day, Thursday, June 10.

Others set to appear include Jay-Z, the Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Loen, John Fogherty and Norah Jones.

NEEDTOBREATHE took time out from a recent video shoot for their single, "Hurricane" to film a message for their fans and personally make the announcement (video can be viewed at http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1513658651?bctid=65631181001).

"Hurricane" is currently at Modern Rock radio, while "The Outsiders" is impacting simultaneously at Triple A radio. Both tracks appear on NEEDTOBREATHE's third studio album, The Outsiders. Released late last year, The Outsiders was a top 20 debut on the Billboard 200.

In other touring news, NEEDTOBREATHE will embark on their "Won't Turn Back Tour" next month. Their biggest trek to date, the tour follows last year's successful "The Outsiders Live" headlining run which included sold out shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Dallas, Nashville and more.

Mother Of Man Charged With Killing Sgt. Chapin Given Prison Sentence Of 30 Years, 6 Months

The mother of the man charged with killing Chattanooga Police Sgt. Michael Lamar Johnston Must Wait Almost Two More Months Before Learning Sentence

Sentencing for former Hamilton County paramedic Michael Lamar Johnston, who pleaded guilty in November to fondling a woman as his ambulance took her to a hospital, has been delayed until April 2.   He was scheduled to learn today whether he would be placed on probation or given diversion but, at the request of both prosecution and defense attorneys, the hearing was passed. ...
