Chattanooga fire investigators are trying to determine what started a fire early Wednesday morning in the business office at College Hill Courts.
The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm at 5:22 a.m. and responded to 1300 Grove St. with six fire companies. Smoke and flames were visible when the first firefighters arrived on the scene.
The firefighters eventually got the blaze under control, but the fire damage was extensive. An estimate on the loss was not available.
One firefighter received a minor injury when he fell down a stairwell. He was not transported to a hospital.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
