Richard Babb Anderson, 72, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, March 2010 at his residence.

He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, a graduate of The Bright School, The McCallie School and Auburn University, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, and completed graduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Virginia.

Richard served in the Air National Guard and was a member of First Centenary United Methodist Church, where he attended the Morgan Sunday School Class.

Richard was a former member of the Signal Mountain Golf and Country Club and the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. He was a retired executive with Wacker Chemical and had previously worked with various textile and chemical companies.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Anderson and Mary Ruth Babb Anderson.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Spratlin Anderson; sons, Michael A. Anderson and wife Tracy, Chattanooga and C. David Anderson and wife Cheryl, Florence, S.C.; sister, Jacquelyn Ingersoll, Ocean Shores, Wa., and three grandchildren, Leslie Anne Anderson, Clayton M. Anderson and Jonathan David Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, March 13, at the First Centenary United Methodist Church with Dr. David Harr and Dr. Dwight Kilborne officiating.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Centenary United Methodist Church, 419 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, Tn. 37402, or to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.

Nancy Martin Garrett, 73, died on February 9, 2012.   Survivors include her daughter, Felicia Harrisonl; sons, Anthony, Jeff and Larry; siblings, Edward Martin and Shirley Martin; other relatives and friends.   Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, in the funeral home chapel. Albert C. Kiser, 102, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, surrounded by family.   He was born on Dec. 27, 1909, in Somerset, Ky. to the late Albert and Ethel Kiser.   He retired from TVA after 35 years, was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church for 63 years and member of the Fellowship Class. Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again
