St. Peter’s School, a school with 193 students, raised over $1,800 for Emily’s Power For A Cure.
EPFAC is a local foundation funding research for neuroblastoma and supporting local families who have been diagnosed with this disease.
EPFAC has a special place in the heart of the St. Peter’s community, as this namesake foundation, created in February 2006, was created in loving memory of Emily Ransom (a would-be student) whose brothers Max and Jon Pat both attended St. Peter's.
The Ransom family resides in Hixson. Many of the students remember Emily personally and feel very passionate about the cause.
