Police said a man charged with trying to break into a home on Highland Avenue left some "nude magazines" behind.
James Anthony Bell, 46, of 5201 Dardy St., was arrested after a couple said they were asleep when they heard someone kick in the back door.
Rosie Murphy said after she hollered, "Get the gun" to husband, Napoleon, that the would-be-burglar skedaddled.
She said at the same time she heard police officers arriving.
One officer spotted Bell in an alley behind the residence. Another drove along the alley and apprehended Bell, who is on probation for theft.
Police said he had drug paraphernalia on him.
He was asked if the pornographic magazines found at the side of the house were his and he "was not going to say that his fingerprints were not on them."
Detective James Hostetter said an interview with Bell was delayed because he was so high on cocaine. He said he "talked non-stop" and kept saying he was flying high on drugs.
Bell was charged with aggravated burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
There was $200 in damage to the kicked-in back door.
