Bonnie L. Newman, 92, died on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at her residence.

She was formerly of Dearborn, Mi., before moving here in 1986. Mrs. Newman was retired from Detroit-Toledo-Ironton Railroad.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Newman.

Survivors include her brother, Glenn Yarbrough, Phoenix, Az.; nieces, Jean Goodrich, Glenda Prescott, several other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, with the Rev. Lamar Dietz officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hutcheson Hospice, 100 Mitchell Circle, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. 30742.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
