Senator Corker has shown a lack of concern for those who have lost their lives in aircraft accidents. His reason is that he wants to protect FedEx. He does not want stronger rules for airlines that could prevent plane crashes like the one in Buffalo, NY. A company is obviously more important than peoples’ lives in this thinking. He is also pushing hard to protect the payday loan companies from regulation, despite the fact that the interest rates are usurious and can bankrupt families. In these difficult times, he apparently would prefer to see some loan businesses make excessive profits than protect citizens who are struggling to survive.
Corker tried to grab headlines in reaching across the aisle to work on new regulations to protect consumers from unscrupulous lenders. But now, it appears that he is really only wanting to make sure that the rules do not hurt businessmen who have supported his campaigns. Fed Ex’s PAC was the third largest contributor to Senator Corker’s campaign committee in 2005 to 2010.
Is this the kind of representation we need in Washington?

So what else is new? This is the our Senator's pattern. His only concern is his (and his friends') wallets. It is astonishing that the people, that he supposedly represents, cannot see this. Politics as usual.
