Jack Doyle Sigler, 63, of Mineral Bluff, Ga. and formerly of Cleveland, died Tuesday morning, March 9 in a Canton, Ga. hospital.
He was the son of the late Mable Hicks Sigler and Reverend Doyle B. Sigler; and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Boyd and John Sigler; and nephew, Barry Prince.
He was an Electrical Superintendent, He was Veteran of the United States Army where attained the rank of Sgt. E-5 serving during the Viet Nam War, Jack was a member of the VFW, American Legion, D.A.V. and was a member of the North Georgia Honor Guard and was a member of the Southern Band of the Cherokees.
Survivors include his son, Jody Sigler of Portland, Or.; two brothers, Paul and Tim Sigler of Cleveland; four sisters, Linda Willhoit and her husband James of Ringgold, Faye Prince, Edna Blair and her husband Roger of Cleveland, Sharon Sigler of Resaca; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, March 12 at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes. Interment will follow in the Veterans Section of Fort Hill with Military Honors with David Sigler, Doyle Sigler, Rick Sigler, Darrell Kibler, Brian Willhoit and Chris Yarber serving as pallbearers.
