Wallace Marion Curtis, 54, of Adairsville, Ga., died on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Chattanooga.

He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of First Corinth Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Ola Mae Curtis; and step-mother, Mrs. Mary Curtis.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Shirley Marie Curtis; son, Mr. Wallace Maricko (Tasha) Curtis of Augusta, Ga.; two daughters, Ms. Thelma Crawford of Kennesaw, Ga.; Ms. Porcha Curtis of Adairsville; father, Mr. William H. “Sonny” Curtis of Dalton; four grandchildren; one brother, Mr. Woodrow Wilson of Cartersville, Ga.; two aunts, Mrs. Laura Akins of Conyer, Ga. and Mrs. Lois Curtis of Adairsville; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces & nephews; cousins; two special friends, Mr. Jerry Henderson and Mr. Rico Wills of Adairsville; and other relatives and friends.

Home going service will be held Sunday, March 14,at 2 p.m. from First Corinth Christian Church, located 728 Court Street, Calhoun, Ga. with pastor James Harris officiating. Interment will take place at Poplar Springs Cemetery in Adairsville.

Family will receive friends Saturday, March 13, from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home. His remains will lie in state at the church one hour before the service.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife
