2 Teens Shot In Separate Incidents

1 Hit In Brainerd, Another In East Chattanooga

One teen was shot in the neck in Brainerd and another in the leg in East Chattanooga on Saturday night.

Chattanooga Police were called to 5006 North Moore Lane on a person shot.

The incident actually occurred at 4600 Rogers Road.

According to investigators, the victim was shot in the left side of the neck while seated in an SUV. He was transported to Erlanger Hospital by EMS.

The victim's injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

There is no suspect information at this time.

The case is still being investigated by Chattanooga Police Department major crimes investigators.

Also, Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot at 9:15 p.m. at 1941 Heaton St. The victim, a 16-year-old male, was shot in the lower left leg.

According to witnesses at the scene, 3-5 black males wearing all black and black masks, got out of the bed of a white pick-up truck and began shooting in multiple directions. The suspects then returned to the truck and left the scene.

The victim was transported to Erlanger, where he was treated and released.

The shooting is still under investigation.
