CBA March Open Bass Tournament

The Chattanooga Bass Association will be holding the F&S Heating and Cooling Open Bass Tournament at Chester Frost Park Saturday March the 20th. Sign-ups will begin Monday March the 15th at:

First place will pay $2,000.00. We had 63 teams fish our February event and were able to pay cash and prizes through all 63 places. 84 Lumber will be giving the highest finishing new team a free entry fee into next month’s tournament. New this year is our Youth Division. $60 entry fee!

Everyone is welcome to fish or just attend the weigh-in. Mo-Mo’s Bar-B-Q will also be on hand with food and drinks. The tournament will start at safelight and weigh-in will begin at 4:00 pm Saturday March the 20th.

Ultralight-Led Whooping Cranes Released At Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

A Chattanooga man told police Monday night that he had just murdered his wife.  Police said Robert Lee Hardnett, 50. showed up at the County Jail to turn himself in at 8:40 p.m. He said his wife's body could be found at his place of employment, Power Supply Company, 1907 Daisy St.   Officers responded to that address and found the body of 34-year-old Elizabeth ... Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

The four remaining members of the Red Bank Commission held a special called meeting on Tuesday and chose Kenneth Welch as the replacement for Vice Mayor Greg Jones, who moved to Alaska.
