Reward Offered For Information In 2003 Hit-And-Run

The Cleveland Police Department is looking for new information on an accident that occurred seven years ago.

Ruth Ann Burnett was killed in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of 8th Street at Broad Street NW on March 25, 2003.

The fleeing vehicle was possibly an early to mid eighty's red Chevrolet pickup truck with no description of the driver.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the identification and arrest of the driver. Please call 728-4636.


City To Spend $3.2 Million For Moccasin Bend Sewage Treatment Plant Odor Control

The city plans to spend $3.2 million for odor control at the Moccasin Bend Sewage Treatment Plant. A second $198,606 contract is to study how to reduce the city's water bill at the sewage treatment plant and make better use of sewage effluent. Tullahoma Man Pleads Guilty In Child Pornography Case

Denver C. Cole, 40, of Tullahoma, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Federal Court in Chattanooga to receipt of child pornography in interstate commerce by means of a computer.  Sentencing is set for 9 a.m. on May 21.
