Lisa Nausley of Sandler Training addressed flaws in the “traditional” sales approach, and offered tips on building rapport with potential clients in a speech Tuesday at the Red Bank Council of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.
“We ask a lot of questions, we don’t do a lot of the talking,” she explained.
Ms. Nausley also asked for feedback from those in attendance about what issues they face in their businesses, and suggested ways that a different approach could address those challenges.
In 2008, she and her husband, Dan, opened a Sandler Training office in Chattanooga. Sandler is a nationwide training organization dedicated to improving sales, sales management and business development skills. The Nausleys have a combined total of over 50 years in sales, management and business development experience.
Sonja Millard presented this month’s Beautification Award to Sanders Associates on Dayton Boulevard. She welcomed new business Hillbilly’s Country Restaurant to the area.
The Red Bank Council meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Red Bank Community Center behind Erlanger North. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., and lunch and the program at noon. The meeting ends at 1 p.m. Lunch is $10. Members and non-members are welcome to attend.
