Rechoboth Baptist Hosts Annual Spring Revival

Rechoboth Baptist Church is having their annual Spring Revival beginning on Easter Sunday, April 4, with two services at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. The evening service will begin at 7 p.m., and the revival will conclude on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Evangelist Dennis Deese will be the guest speaker.

The church is located at 12622 Dayton Pike in Soddy Daisy.

Pastor Dennis Deese has been pastor for 24 years. He served as vice president of Tennessee Baptist Pastors Conference 2000, and president of Tennessee Baptist Pastors Conference 2001.

He is the author of the gospel tract, "Do You Know The Way to Heaven?" and author of the book, "Why I Can't Quit"

He has spoken at the Tennessee Baptist Pastors Conference in 2001 and 2004, Liberty University, Fruitland Bible Institute, The Baptist College of Florida, Clear Creek Bible College, and many associational meetings,

He has ed many leadership development classes over the past 18 years, and has been a mens' conference speaker.

He has been married to Teri for 32 years, and they have three adult children, and adopted their granddaughter, Avery who is seven.

His hometown is Live Oak, Fl., and he resides in Piney Flats, Tn.


Brainerd Baptist Hosts Parents' Night Out Feb. 17

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

An Chattanooga man told police Monday night that he had just murdered his wife.  Police said Robert Lee Hardnett, 50. showed up at the County Jail to turn himself in at 8:40 p.m. He said his wife's body could be found at his place of employment, Power Supply Company, 1907 Daisy St.   Officers responded to that address and found the body of 34-year-old Elizabeth ... Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

The four remaining members of the Red Bank Commission held a special called meeting on Tuesday and chose Kenneth Welch as the replacement for Vice Mayor Greg Jones, who moved to Alaska. Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
