Jack Martin Morrison, 69, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at his home.

Jack was a longtime resident of Signal Mountain and a graduate of University of Chattanooga on August 25, 1961, and University of Tennessee Law School on June 8, 1973. Jack was a lieutenant in the Army Infantry serving as a unit commander. He was an avid golfer and boater.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Morrison of Chattanooga; son, Scott (Susan) Morrison of Ooltewah; one granddaughter, Madison Morrison; brother, Robert A. Morrison Jr., of Signal Mountain; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 22, in Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Reverend and Honorable Sam Payne officiating and military honors.

Visitation is from 6-7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace.

Kinser, Waldo Oran (Chatsworth)

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again
