Jeffrey Eugene "Jeff" Rogers, 55, died on Monday, March 15, 2010, at his residence.
He had been a lifelong resident of North Georgia for over 40 years. Mr. Rogers was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid NASCAR fan, bowling fanatic and UT Vols fan, who loved spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow and Grace Dedmon, Earl and Agnes Rogers; and father, Jim Ben Rogers.
Survivors are his mother, Charlotte P. Rogers; children, Jason Rogers, Shannon (Chad) Peyton, and Leslie Rogers; sister, Vicki R. (Chuck) Brashear; granddaughters, Autumn Slaven, Addison Bane; and his beloved dog, Baby Girl Talley.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 19, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Joe Brown officiating. Interment will be in National Cemetery.
