Sandra Riley Anderson, 73, of Jasper, Tn., died in a local hospital on Tuesday, March 16, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Ella Chilton Riley.

She was a member of Havron’s Chapel United Methodist Church and was a 30- year teacher in Franklin and Marion Counties. Mrs. Anderson opened her heart and her home to numerous children and foster children that sought refuge and unconditional love. The doors to her home were always open to any and all.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Wilroy Anderson of Jasper; sons, Steve (Veronica) Anderson of Houston, Tx., Scott Anderson of Chattanooga and Jonathan Anderson of Jasper; daughter, Jennifer (Ray) Durham of Jasper; brother, Alan (Marie) Riley of DeVille, La.; sister, Debbie Riley of Jasper; nephew, Paul (Kendra) Riley of Murfreesboro; and two grandchildren, Annabelle Anderson and Mitchell Anderson of Houston.

Memorial services will be conducted by Rev. Jim Diehl on Saturday, March 20 at 2 p.m. Central Time at Havron’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Havron’s Chapel Cemetery immediately following the service.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 20 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Central Time at Havron’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Jasper.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife
