Chester Raymond “Ray” Eastes Jr., 82, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, March 18, 2010.

Ray served our country in the U. S. Army during World War II, serving as an Honor Guard at the Tomb of the unknown soldiers. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and served on the home ministry.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Mary Tatum Eastes; children, Diane (Jon) Havert, Ft. Wayne, Ind., Abby Walls, Ocoee, Fl., and April (Dee) Skinner, Ft. Wayne, In.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, David (Sharon) Eastes, Leo, In.; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, and 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 22, at the North Chapel.

Services for Ray will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the North Chapel with Rev. Bert Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.

Kinser, Waldo Oran (Chatsworth)

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again
