6 Candidates Have Picked Up For Lookout Mountain Commission Race

Six candidates have picked up papers for the Lookout Mountain, Tn., Commission for a race that often only has a slate of five.

Picking up thus far are incumbents Greg Brown, Dan Crates, Will Moses and Carole Mutter along with newcomers Ernest Minges and Walker Jones.

Crates, Minges and Brown have returned their petitions.

Billy Mitchell is the other incumbent.

Incumbent school board members for Lookout Mountain - James Haley, Sherry Pollock and Grant Law - have picked up.

The deadline is April 1.

Hamilton County Woman Charged With TennCare Drug Fraud

A Hamilton County woman has been charged with trying to use the state’s public healthcare insurance program to pay for a forged prescription.
