Kenneth Robert Hamil, 81, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, March 18, 2010.

He attended Kings Point Baptist Church and was retired from the 3M Company.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joe and Willie Hamil; second wife, Dorothy Rogers Hamil; four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Qualls Hamil, of Chattanooga; one
son and daughter-in-law, Steve (Pat) Hamil, of Rock Springs, Ga.; one
daughter, Sherry Forgey, of Cleveland; one brother, Richard Hamil, of Kingston, Tn.; two sisters, Sue Cook and Jen Blair, both of Lenoir City, Tn.; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 22, at 11:30 a.m. in
the Hwy. 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home, Inc., with the Rev. Tim Marrs
officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery
with military honors.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 21, from 2-8 p.m. and on Monday up to the hour of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kings Point Baptist Church, 2834 Harrison Pike, Chattanooga, Tn. 37406.

Eleanor Ritchey, 86, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Monday, February 13, 2012, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Gertrude Anderson, brother, Linn Anderson, one grandchild and two great grandchildren. Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again
