Baylor defeated Ooltewah, 2-1, Friday night in boys prep soccer after leading 2-0 late in the match.
The Red Raiders (1-1) took a 1-0 lead into halftime on Travis Deere's goal in the eighth minute off a corner kick by Freddie Miller.
Baylor's Sam Williams' header made it 2-0 early in the second half.
Williams' goal was set up when Miller played a quick restart to Colby Hopwood who crossed the ball Williams.
Ooltewah's goal came on a Tyler Callups penalty kick in the final two minutes of play.
Hunter Rozzell had one save in goal for the Owls and Will Thoni had two saves for Baylor.
Ooltewah (0-1) hosts McMinn County in Tuesday in a distict match.
Hixson 3, Signal Mountain 2
Sikhou Sy scored two goals for Hixson and Nau Alvarez had one. Assists were credited to Alvarez, Mauiriccio Moreno and Chris Bovell.
Steven Beaulieu had eight saves for Hixson who out shot Signal Mountain, 21-11, while the Eagles Joel Williams had 14 saves.
Signal Mountain goals were scored by Jackson Cooper and Drew Godbehere, with assists by Andy Rosen and R.J. Masterson.
