Margaret “Tootsie” Gann, 94, of Hixson, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, March 20, 2010.

Tootsie was born in Hixson, on December 8, 1915 to the late Walter and Maude Bailey. She attended Hixson High School, graduated from McKenzie College where she taught for several years. Tootsie was the office manager for Kingsboro Mills and J.W. Bray.

She loved her home and her family.

Tootsie was preceded in death by her husband, Blayne Gann; a brother, Joe Bailey and a sister, Edna Marsh.

She is survived by her daughter, Deanna (Neil) Shelton; three grandchildren, Karen (Mike) Delashmitt, Kim Fulmer and Mike (Theresa) Fulmer; five great-grandchildren, Derrick and Jeremy Delashmitt, Ericka, Tabitha and Kayla Fulmer; brother, Murl “Buddy” Bailey; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, and 1-3 p.m. on Monday, March 22, at the North Chapel.

Services for Margaret will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday at the North Chapel with Rev. Robert Randolph and Rev. Bruce Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Bob Youngblood, Mart Eustice, Ryan Keylon, Tony Warren, Derrick and Jeremy Delashmitt serving as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank Bob and Donna Youngblood, and Chad for their loving care giving to Mrs. Gann.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tootsie’s name to the Pet Placement Center, 5975 Dayton Blvd., Red Bank, Tn. 37415.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.

Nancy Martin Garrett, 73, died on February 9, 2012.   Survivors include her daughter, Felicia Harrisonl; sons, Anthony, Jeff and Larry; siblings, Edward Martin and Shirley Martin; other relatives and friends.   Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, in the funeral home chapel. Albert C. Kiser, 102, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, surrounded by family.   He was born on Dec. 27, 1909, in Somerset, Ky. to the late Albert and Ethel Kiser.   He retired from TVA after 35 years, was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church for 63 years and member of the Fellowship Class. Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife
