University of Tennessee at Chattanooga sophomore Jason McCroskey’s run at the 2010 NCAA Wrestling Championships came to an end Friday afternoon Omaha, Neb.
McCroskey (184) was 2-2 in the tournament and was eliminated by UNC Greensboro’s Andrew Saunders, 6-4, in the consolation fourth round.
McCroskey defeated 2009 national runner-up Mike Moore (Central Michigan), 5-2, on Thursday and then lost to No.7 Joe LeBlanc (Wyoming), 5-1.
In the consolation round, the former Soddy Daisy state medalist defeated Ohio’s Nick Purdue (3-2) before facing Saunders.
UTC freshman Dean Pavlou also competed at the NCAAs, dropping both of his 149-pound matches on Thursday.
