Money and prescription drugs appear to be the motive behind a Saturday morning home invasion at 316 Stringer St.
Police responded to the residence just before 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, and were told by William and LeeAnna Reed that two masked and armed white men kicked in their back door while they were asleep. Once inside, they demanded money and Ms. Reed’s medications.
The armed suspects were described as wearing bandanas over their faces and dark sweats. They were carrying handguns.
The robbers were able to get $261 in unnamed bills and $250 in prescription medication.
The Reeds were not harmed in the incident.
Police are still working on suspect leads in the case.
