Parkridge Medical Center Sponsors Benefit For Cancer Foundation

Wednesday, March 03, 2010

Parkridge Medical Center and BMW of Chattanooga are presenting the inaugural Wine & Pearls benefit for The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation on April 22 from 6-9 p.m.

This cocktail reception and silent auction offers a Toast to Hope in support of Chattanooga area men and women fighting a battle with cancer.

BMW of Chattanooga’s dealership at I-75 and Brainerd Road will be transformed into an event venue where guests will enjoy the music of the Ben Friberg Trio as well as an impressive wine bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on many desirable items at a silent auction featuring tempting trips, original art, jewelry, salon packages and so much more.

Sponsored by Parkridge Medical Center, this event raises funds that help provide vital personal encouragement, support and information to area adults navigating the journey through cancer diagnoses and treatments.

“We’re honored to be partnering with Parkridge Medical Center for this elegant event,” said Susan Hosbach, executive director of The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation.

“Not only does Wine & Pearls offer a special evening out, but it also creates greater awareness about the direct cancer support and education services and programs that The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation offers free of charge, as well as the impact of clinical trial participation on advancing effective treatments. We greatly value working closely with those in the Chattanooga area who have been impacted by cancer.”

Individual tickets are $75. For more information about Wine & Pearls, contact Faith Holley at fholley@minniepearl.org, at The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation, or call 877 467-1936, ext. 105.
