Nancy Louise Evans Green, 88, of Polk County, died on Saturday, March 6, 2010, in a local hospital.

She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jule and Maggie Lillard Evans; her husband, Dennis Green; her sisters, Donnie Cronan and Anna Stone; and her brothers, L.B. Evans and Jimmy Evans.

She is survived by two daughters, Deloris and her husband Hoyt Lindner of Benton, Tn., and Dianne Crisp of Greenville, Tn.; four grandchildren, Shannon Ingram, Mitch Lindner, Stephany Peel and Julie Ellis; six great-grandchildren, Rusty Davis, Amanda Lindner, Hannah and Hunter Ingram, Justin Brown and Jacey Ellis; one great-great grandchild, Sadie Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 8, at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Jasper Woody and Reverend Larry Coleman officiating.

Interment will be held Tuesday, March 9, at 10 a.m. in Brock Cemetery. The service will conclude with a white dove release.

Her family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 8 prior to the service at the funeral home.
